David Weinberg is a legal and business affairs executive with extensive domestic and international experience in commercial transactions, licensing, event operations and intellectual property matters. He is a strategic leader that drives revenue and growth while providing risk and brand management.
Recent experience includes acting as VP of Business & Legal Affairs for the Paley Center for Media, leading the negotiations for distribution of Paley content across multiple linear and digital platforms and overseeing all business and legal affairs. David began his career at World Cup USA 1994, the Organizing Committee for FIFA’s World Cup. After a short stint as a litigator, David then joined MLS, where he was responsible for all aspects of the launch of the league’s daily operations including drafting and negotiating broadcast, sponsorship, new media, licensing, stadium and other ancillary agreements. Following that, David spent 13 years with the NFL as lead attorney for the NFL’s Events Department, including all Super Bowls and sponsorships/licensing with Fortune 500 companies.
